One of Sudbury's best restaurants. Excellent food, pleasant service, nice atmosphere. Don't let the inner city location deter you.

A very lovely place, great food and great staff.

The food was delicious the service was good. But it smelled like cigar and cigarette smoke in the restaurant so it wasn't pleasant eating a good meal with the smell.

The cheesecake is very good here. But service is terrible. Even if you bought an entire cheesecake they still charge you by the slice $8/slice. Even a preorder request to put a name on the cake proved difficult, actually impossible there. Poor customer service for an expensive restaurant.

Lovely Modern restaurant in Sudbury, Ontario. Went for lunch and they made it possible for my husband to have the rack of lamb from the dinner menu. I had the Lobster ravioli which I highly recommend. Will come back here in future.

Fantastic place for just very good food. The place looks dated, and the presentation isn't great, but the food just makes you forget everything else.

Enjoyed the food when I went there, and the plating is so beautiful 😍. If like a romantic place to go this is it. I hope to go back again someday

I have been a customer of Alexandria's for many years. The food is impeccable!! My guests and I always get great service at a very a reasonable price. I travel a lot and enjoy fine food. Absolutely the best food for value. World class!I thank management and staff for the excellent service and hospitality.

Owners a lunatic. Likes to scream at people. If you tell him you don’t like the food he’ll kick you out lol. He’s fraudulent, be careful we overheard him asking the waitress to charge a table for extra things they didn’t order. Also acts like a child in the community starting high school drama but that’s besides the point.

I have a lot of food allergies and the chef was happy to accommodate them and give me a lovely dining experience.

Very good food, service and people. If you want to try something different than usual, it's your place.

I've never had a bad meal or even a disappointing dish at Alexandria's. Pricy, but outstanding food and service.

Arrived in Sudbury for business with 2 gentleman from the US. A quick google search located Alexandria's, and we couldn't have been more pleased to have found. The service, atmosphere, food, wine, and lastly dessert were all top notch. Looking forward to visiting again before our business trip is over.Fantastic, highly recommended for business, personal, anniversary, etc. Very quiet, cozy and personable. Can't say enough good things. My guests/business colleagues were highly impressed.

Service was terrible, did an awful job accomodating a gluten free dinner. The restaurant was alerted of a food allergy the day before the reservation. During my arrival, I again told the server of my allergy. I was brought a plate, I again clarified that it was GF, she left to speak with the chef and came back and took my plate away. Then I was served beef rather than chicken. I was very ill as soon as I finished my meal. All of the symptoms were issues that occur after consuming gluten. Since posting the review, the owner has taken it upon himself to contact me through Facebook Messenger to threaten me. I would not recommend attending this restaurant for many reasons.

How is this place getting good ratings .. Do not go here .. Sad to see people getting their money stolen away.. Going with a group and finding a lot of extras added to the bill then threatened by the owners.. the food was not at all up to the price point ! Sudbury has countless of places to explore for competitive prices with great service! Don’t be fooled !!

The Finest Cuisine Experience.... This is where you go for a couple of hours... It take time to prepare Exquisite Fresh Food by one of the finest chefs around.... His sauces alone are to die for.... Yes it's a little pricy. ... It's not a hamburger joint... This is where you take your lovely Queen for an evening she will remember....

Great menu, great taste

Service and food were OK. Very quiet on weeknights in the main dining room if you want something intimate. A little higher end on the prices.

We felt comfortable right away as we entered the quiet tastefully decorated restaurant. We were greeted pleasantly by the host and shown to a quiet corner table. We told them that we had to be at the theatre by 7 pm that was across the street and they were very accommodating. The server recommended the lamb and we had a great Greek bruschetta. Delicious! We made it in good time for the show.

One of the few fine dining spots in town. The chef is clearly very good, we got the two chicken dishes on menu and both were fantastic. The Calamari appetizer was very well done and done differently to what i have had in other places. Its a bit pricy but if you want fine cuisine then this is the place. Also they cater for ethnic preferences as halal and kosher which makes it even more special.

This place is a relic. Dated food with tired looking plating. To be avoided at all costs. It might impress your typical Valley goober but if you know anything about food just steer clear.This is a place that basically excels at tricking people with no taste or experience into thinking that the food is fancy.

Chicken and pasta was great but rice was not cooked well , overall good experience

My favourite place in town! I wish I had discovered it sooner. You may pay a bit more but you get much more in return!

I now live in Ottawa but every time I come back to my home town, a visit to Alexandria’s is a must. The food is always great and as is the service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The prices are high for the quantity they serve. $41 for a 2 piece lamb? The waitress wasn’t welcoming and the chef was prejudiced. Overall, a 0.5 star is al I can give. If you want quality with quantity Arabian food, then head to the Lebanese shawarma in Lasalle rd or Damascus cafe.

We had a small Christmas dinner last night and the waitress was excellent, very engaged and obviously enjoys her job. The food was terrific with all 8 of us completely satisfied with the taste and portion sizes. Very highly recommended for an upscale experience.

Do not go here!Went there with my wife and we couldn't believe how bad the service was. Brought us the wrong main course and it took an hour just to get! When we paid after the fact i saw on the bill that they put an app on we didn't order or get and extra drinks. Went back to dispute and was met with hostility and unprofessionalism... Will NEVER go back!Go here if you want bad service, over charging and extra items on your bill.

...visiting Sudbury, live in town? One of the most delicious options in dining in town is Alexandria's located smack dab in the middle of Downtown Sudbury.

Loved the food. Service was great. All very nice staff. We were going to the theater and they asked if we were so that they could make sure our meal arrived with enough time to enjoy it and still make the show! Would highly recommend for a nice date night or if planning on seeing a show! Little pricey but totally worth it! What an excellent way to spend an evening. Nice wine and good food. I had the seafood paella and the scallops were cooked perfectly. My date had the spicy lamb with curry and it was wonderful. I enjoyed the music playing in the background. It added a relaxing romance to our meal.

I've eaten here only once. Very small portions, crowded environment and a bit pricy. Food was good,I've had better at other local restaurants. I wouldnt return.

The food at Alexandria's is always amazing. I usually have the lamb and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, the menu is inspired and very flavorful. This is not your traditional Sudbury food so if you want really good Mediterranean style food come here. They have parking behind the restaurant.

had a work Christmas function there, which our boss payed for the majority of, was later told we were charged for bottles of wine and a bunch of stuff we didn't even order, pretty sure they charged us for mistakes made on the previous nights dinner. when confronted, the owner said they were contacting their legal department about damage, BS... never again. Plus they charged him 600$ for "orderves", basically pickles meat and cheese which was placed on the bar. we thought it was complimentary.

Food is ok though overpriced.

The food is expensive and not especial!
